About The Discovery Center

What is The Discovery Center?

The Discovery Center is a ministry founded by Timothy Flemming, Jr. and Jackie Flemming in 2023. We are a training ground for Believers. We focus on the personal and spiritual development of Believers, helping them to discover and walk in their callings and purpose, discover their identities in Christ, discover and operate in their spiritual gifts, walk in their Kingdom authority, be effective leaders, build godly marriages and relationships, and build wealth through entrepreneurship. We offer online trainings and Bible studies and live events (worship services, conferences, workshops and more) to help Believers develop personally and spiritually.

We offer opportunities for individuals to become members and partner with us. Members can serve in various ways: on our "Discovery Team" during live events as greeters, dancers, ushers, the Ministry of Helps workers, setup crew members, and more. Also, they may serve on our ministerial staff and our prayer team.

Why are we called "The Discovery Center"?

Have you ever experienced frustration over not knowing what to do with your life? Have you ever wondered why you were born? Why you exist? Or perhaps wallowed in frustration due to not knowing how to get your life on track and be - and feel - productive? Well, believe it or not, but from the moment we're born, we're on a journey, looking for answers to three important questions. Those questions are:

• Who am I?

• Why do I exist?

• How do I find success in life?

When you discover the answers to these questions, your life will go to a new level. You will gain both clarity and confidence. Scripture calls this discovery "the principle ("chief; first; best") thing." Proverbs 4:7 tells us, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." Our first priority in life should be to gain an understanding of who we are and why we're here, and then gain the wisdom of God necessary to lead successful lives.

Godly wisdom and understanding aren't taught in grade school. Colleges and universities can't help you to discover your identity and purpose. But this is the most important discovery one can make. Thankfully, this is the information and revelation you will receive at The Discover Center.

What do we believe?

We believe that discovering the answers to the three most important questions begins with discovering God and developing a relationship with Him; this must be done before you can discover you who are and why you are here. God created you, and He did so with a purpose in mind. He designed you in His image and likeness.

​

Who is God? Can He be discovered? And if so, how? The answers are yes, He can be discovered, and this can only be done by learning of Him through His Word (the Bible). The Bible is the foundation of our faith, and it develops us spiritually, which, in turn, develops us mentally, emotionally and physically.

We strictly follow the Bible. We teach "the whole counsel of God" with an emphasis on teaching principles of the Kingdom of God. These allows us to discover our identities, authority and power in Christ. We believe in the miraculous power of God to change and transform lives and situations. Through discovering and walking in Kingdom principles, one can receive supernatural healing and provisions, miracles, financial breakthrough, angelic assistance, and every other promise given to us through God's Word.

What is our mission?

We follow the apostolic call of God, which is found in Ephesians 4:11-2: "Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ" (NLT). Our goal is to help people to discover God and His Kingdom, and then train and equip them to walk in God's power and fulfill God's purpose for their lives.

God doesn't want us to simply demonstrate His power within the four walls of the church; He wants us to take the Kingdom with us outside those walls and dominate over the seven mountains of influence: religion, education, arts and entertainment, business and entrepreneurship, government, media, and family. So, our live events, trainings and courses are designed to teach people how to succeed in each of these areas.
